Kids’ Korner is a short-term, supervised, semi-structured, drop-in
child care room. This service is for members and community
participants who would like to exercise knowing their children are
well taken care of and having a great time. Our loving and
energetic staff will aid them in coloring, play dough, puzzles,
blocks, reading books, music and much more! Plus, there are too many
toys to mention for your little ones to enjoy.
Registration is required for each session. |
Our Youth Room is
FREE to all youth
members and open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays,
5:00pm-8:00pm. Come and be a kid in our spacious, fun and
engaging room. We have plenty to keep you active and lots
to do to keep you witty. Use the computer or play our
3-in-1 arcade game, work on your dodge ball, bowling or air
hockey skills. Stay fit by arranging an obstacle course or
race your friend on a scooter. We have the tools to enhance
your health and well-being while having a great time. |

No prior experience is required, but having fun is a must! Students
may advance through earning belt levels and skill tests, or a class
may be used as an extra curricular activity without belt-testing.

Kids' Fitness Facts: Attention Parents |
|
Pediatrician, Kevin Hayes, will be speaking on the topic of
children’s fitness and nutrition
and its ever-increasing importance. This
45-minute talk
will include a question and answer portion,
so come prepared to ask the doctor anything you want to know to better
enable your children to stay well.
*Kids’ Korner hours will be extended until the presentation
is over.
Reservations for Kids’ Korner will be required for staffing
purposes.

Snacking (Ages 8-14) |

Snacking is a guarantee with kids. This class will teach
them how to safely make healthy snacks, without needing any
major kitchen appliance! Knowing what is in your food is the
first step toward healthy eating. Knowledge is power and
this class gives the power to the kids! Each participant
will receive a cook book at the end of the session including
all the recipes that were tested during class.

Doodlers (Ages 3-5) |

Your child will be able to express himself while creating
masterpieces you will surely treasure. Each week in this
toddler art class, the children will be introduced to a
different style of crafting or art projects. The children
will begin to develop important school readiness skills such
as fine motor skills and the ability to listen and follow
directions all while being encouraged to express individual
creativity.
We will be happy to escort your little ones to class from
Kids’ Korner and return them safely, while you are busy
exercising.

Girl POWER! Each Week the class will perform new, fun and
effective exercises to condition the entire body.

Exercising is fun and oh so beneficial for your youngster!
No parents needed for this class. The children will
stretch, hop, skip, wiggle, jump, roll, giggle and smile
their morning away. We want to get your child excited about
taking care of her body. All classes will include a
warm-up, a structured exercise circuit that will change week
to week, and a cool-down complete with stickers!
We will be happy to escort your little ones to exercise
class from Kids’ Korner and return them safely, while you
are busy exercising too.

while you enjoy your significant other’s company – worry
free! Your children will have access to
the Kids’ Korner Room, Youth Room, Gymnasium and for ages 8
and over the Racquetball Court
(supervised by our staff) plus we’ll provide pizza and ice
cream for dinner! What are you waiting for?

What are our kids
reading these days? Here’s your chance to find out.
All eager reading 10-14 year-old daughters and their moms
can join this monthly book club.
A new book will be featured each month that can be checked
out at your local library.
Opportunities to “host” the monthly study will help develop
important communication and critical
thinking skills while enjoying new friends and bonding with
your family. Call Kelly for the book choice of the month.
Meetings will discuss the book from the previous month and
assign a book for the current month.
